This weekend people from all over the country will come to Nashville for the Country Music Marathon. And you won't believe it, but I'm running in it! Well, not really. I will be virtually though!
One of the things I've gotten involved in since being at home is Mercy Ministries. Mercy Ministries is a non-profit organization designed to meet the needs of young women ages 13-28 facing life-controlling problems such as eating disorders, abusive relationship patterns, addictions, self-harm and depression. It is an amazing organization which is headquartered here in Nashville and has homes all over the world. Run for Mercy is an annual event designed to raise funds for Mercy Ministries’ homes.
As a "virtual runner", I've set a small goal of $200 for this great cause. By clicking HERE, you will be sent directly to my fundraising page. Once there, just click "make a gift" on the left hand side. Any gift you make will help a young woman discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen.
You can read more about Mercy Ministries HERE. Thanks for your support!
