what a smile!

this time i'm not talking about webb.
i'm talking about my front door!

last week i was reading my friends new blog, rambling road interiors.
kathy, or as i refer to her "'momma millner" posted about making your front door smile.

don't you love looking at how people decorate their front doors?
i know i do!

my poor front door doesn't smile about 10 months of the year.
so when i commented to those rambling road folks that i would love some help and ideas ...

days later this showed up at my door.

do you love it or what?
i just can't get enough of it!

since this picture i've added some yellow mums to our porch and plan to pick up some pumpkins too.

of course there will be pictures of that to come.

it's always my favorite to go to mk's for the weekend and try to absorb all the decorating those two have been up to.
... and their families river house is something else!
