tada!
well, i'm a little pooped.
the blocks were a little bit of work, but i think the next go around will be a breeze.
just needed to figure out a few logistics.

these are a gift for a friend from home who's expecting a little girl at the first of december.
she's named her grace.
gotta love the name grace!
and the nursery colors ... white, pink, and green.
if you're interested in making some blocks for a friend, i'll tell ya what i did.she's named her grace.

i took a trip to michael's and picked up:
3 wooden blocks ($2.99 each)
5 sheets of scrapbook paper
2" art brush
2" sponge brush
white acrylic paint
mod podge (this stuff is amazing, but sadly gave me a headache!)
alphabet stamps (& other various stamps)
stamp ink
the "starting cost" of my block making project was about 45 bucks, but the only thing i used up were the blocks.
if this becomes a hobby, which i really don't think that it will, i think i'll find another wood block supplier to cut some cost!
oh and many of you have been asking for updates on the couch. i don't have much of one right now. the inspiration searches were giving me a headache more than anything. so i'm heading to the fabric store monday while webb's at school. to be continued! can't wait to see what i find.

they look great!
