no motivating me

well i'm not getting motivated about much this week because i'm just trying to make it to the weekend!

my friend mary-kathryn is getting married this weekend. which is so exciting!

i haven't gotten to be part of much of the celebration so i can't wait to get to oxford for some fun on thursday night.

mk, hope we're still on for that!

but before we make it to thursday webb has to get tubes.

surgery is at 8:30 tomorrow morning but we have to get there at 6:30.

it was either this week or wait a month.

i couldn't imagine going through any more ear infections ... so this week it is!

casey is out of town for work so it'll be just me getting us out the door tomorrow.

... and waiting anxiously for the 10 minute surgery to be completed!

i've done a little research to calm my nerves.

who knew that getting tubes is the most common surgery in the u.s.

i knew it was super common, but not the most common!

the way i see it, if we got through one of the rarest surgeries when webb was 10 days old, we can sure handle this one!

... even if daddy isn't with us.

so if you think about it, say a little prayer for us tomorrow bright and early!

speaking of prayer ...
last week we made a concious effort to start praying with webb every night instead of whenever we thought about it.

it has been the sweetest time!

webb doesn't make a peep.

last night i opened my eyes during it to see if he was closing his ... he's always so reverent!

(wishful thinking that a 20 month old would be bowing their head!)

he didn't have his eyes closed but after i said amen and looked up at him he said "amen".

my heart sunk.

he got a new haircut yesterday and i've been cracking up ever since!

it's hysterical.

reminds me of the haircut my brother had when he webb's age.
