the little guy will be here in less than two weeks, unless he decides to come on his own.
i'm just waiting to hear back from the doctor about when my "scheduled" turning session will be.

i was just talking to a friend about how it seems like i'm going to be one of those cases where the doctor tells you the baby could come any day ...
then low and behold the baby just hangs on and waits until you schedule a time for them to make their big debut!
hopefully he'll hang on until after thanksgiving and put on some lbs.
i wouldn't mind that one bit.
i also think it would be kinda special to have a thanksgiving surprise!

here's a recipe i've been dying to make since telling mk about it last week.
but considering that i just ate a number of pillsbury cinnamon rolls this morning,
i think i may wait until next week to make it.
just in time for the holidays ... this is definitely a crowd pleaser!

pumpkin pound cake
1 package yellow cake mix
4 eggs beaten
1/2 cup veg oil
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 teas. cinnamon
1/8 teas. nutmeg
icing
8 oz cream cheese softened
4 T margarine
16 oz powdered sugar
1 teas vanilla
mix all ingredients and beat 4 minutes.
pour into greased bundt pan.
bake for 1 hour on 325.
let cool before icing.
for the icing:
blend cream cheese and margarine.
add vanilla and powdered sugar.
blend until smooth then pour over cake.
sprinkle cake with nuts if you want!
