i guess webb read my last blog post because a couple of hours after i posted it he asked to hold townes!
he never asks that.
i mean he has since christmas ... but it's been a while.

and just try and figure out what this little guy is all about ...
it turned out to be a beautiful morning today but the weather quickly changed to rain.
since i'm terrible at coming up with fun activities for me and webb to do, i decided we'd make some bread.
i can count on 2 hands how many bread recipes i've tried.
i get motivated ... then frustrated ... and end up swearing i'll never make homemade bread again.
over here at the hester household we've decided to start a budget.
we're doing it a little bit of dave ramsey style with cash and envelopes and a lot of accountability.
i tell you all this to say that i totally blew our grocery budget for our first 4 weeks.
leaving me only $20 at the grocery store for the week! whoopsie!
lesson learned.

my loaf didn't turn out as beautiful as hers but it's the best homemade bread i've made!
i'm SO excited!!
no lie, i've almost eaten half the loaf.
i'm dreaming of what it would be like with a big slather of butter on it.
(you know ... no d or s)
but it's so good just plain.

3. You've got to do artisan bread in 5 minutes...it's so easy and sooo good. It's changed everything for us. You can even switch out some of the flour for whole wheat.
