baptism

this morning townes was baptized.
it was so special and of course i cried (as casey and i call it) the "stevie wonder cry".
head down, eyes closed, nodding head side to side.
it's the only way i can keep myself from wailing!

i guess it's so much joy and praise for all the Lord has done that i just can't take it!
i bottle it all up and then it comes gushing out in times like today.
i did it at my wedding, when webb was baptized, and the list goes on.
it definitely didn't help my emotional state that townes's baptism gown was made from my mom's wedding dress.

i always feel like she is with me, but more so today with that beautiful gown.

he didn't make a peep or even wiggle.
we did let him carry finn up there with him which definitely helped!
