the pumpkin patch and a mummy

we tried out a new pumpkin patch this year thanks to a friends recommendation.
it was the cutest little place!
it's called walden farms.

webb saw all kinds of animals he'd never seen before, and he called them all dixie of course!

webb is going through a not so pleasant stage these days.
he's not always a happy camper.
i think john bradford felt sorry for him!

... so we had to resort to the paci!

later in the afternoon we went to a halloween themed birthday party up the street.
a couple of weeks back my motivate me monday was to make webb a halloween costume.
i got a bit discouraged when i began purchasing supplies for the spider "webb" costume i was planning on making.
the goal was to make a costume and spend less money, not double!
so this is what i came up with.

a mummy!
or as casey liked to call him "the ninja mummy"
he was a hit at the party.
i was just excited that people were able to tell what he was.
since he's still holding out his arms to balance when he walks, it was the perfect costume.
and it only cost about 15 bucks to make.

this is my absolute favorite picture!
i can't get enough of that face!
