I am a stay at home mom! I never thought those words would come out of my mouth, and I don't think my husband thought they would come out of his either. After endless hours of searching for child care for my 12 week old son, I have thrown in the towel and decided to stay at home.
Webb, my son, was born 12 weeks ago tomorrow, and boy can I say that I have learned a heck of a lot in those 12 weeks! Since Webb and I finally have this routine thing down, I thought it would be fun to share my experiences of being a new mom. I also love to cook and travel, so why not include some yummy recipes and talk about some fun travel destinations while I'm at it.
I'm no chef, but I've always dreamed of opening up my own bakery. Maybe one day. I get so much joy out of cooking. It's like therapy for me. I'm in heaven with a spatula in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other. Oh, and a little background music helps too! I'll be sharing some delicious dishes that I have found along the way ... and get excited because I always try and make a healthy spin on them too. As far as the travel goes, my husband and I have an obsession for a good getaway. Before Webb was born, we took some exciting trips. And we love to eat ... so I've got some great restaurant recommendations too! Hope you enjoy my blog!
